Cusp

Cusp, originally from Rochester, New York, has carved out a niche in the indie rock genre with their sound that echoes the angst and raw energy of the ’90s. Their music is a captivating blend of thrashing riffs and mesmerising melodies that resonate deeply with the complexities of modern life. The band first captured attention with their debut EP, “Spill,” released in 2021, followed by a single under Fire Talk Records. The lineup consists of Jen Bender on guitar and vocals, Gaelen Bates on guitar, and Matt Manes on bass.

In 2022, Cusp made a significant move to Chicago, a city renowned for its rich musical heritage and supportive indie scene. This relocation proved to be transformative for the band, sparking a prolific phase of creativity. Immersed in Chicago’s vibrant music community, Cusp channeled their experiences and influences into their debut full-length album, “You Can Do It All,” released in 2023. The album showcases their growth as musicians and captures the essence of their journey, offering listeners an authentic and introspective exploration of contemporary issues set against a backdrop of dynamic indie rock.

I'm the director of a wonderful small web design company, based in a small village called Cromarty in the Highlands of Scotland. If you'd like a website built by a nice team of reliable people, most of whom have been building websites for well over 20 years, get in touch. We would love to help you.

If you host your website with us, we'll plant at least one tree a year (probably a few more), each and every year when we send you our invoice.

If this sounds good, pop over to our own website and get in touch. Jamie, Colin, Garve, Sandy or Gill will be happy to help you. If you're in the North of Scotland, pop in for a tea or coffee and we'll get you a nice bun to wash it down with, made by the fantastic folk of Cromarty Bakery.
