Hellsongs

It all started out in a barn a bit outside of Gothenburg in 2004.
An acoustic guitar (Kalle), a piano (Johan), vocals (Harriet) and a focus on the often overlooked quality when it comes to expressing inequalities in metal lyrics. Rumour started spreading, more shows were played and a year later the first EP, "Lounge" was self released by the band. Both swedish and international media started taking notice which lead to rotation on radio/tv shows and within another year the full length "Hymns in the key of 666" (2007) was released. International touring followed and another EP was released "Pieces of Heaven, a glimpse of Hell".

In 2009 Harriet left and Siri entered. The sophomore full lenght album "Minor Misdemeanors" was released in 2010. Very intense touring followed the release and in 2011 the band called it quits, ending with a bombastic show in home town Gothenburg, together with the Gothenburg Symphonic Orchestra (released 2012 as Long Live Lounge).

In 2013 Kalle took up the axe once again, this time with My on vocals and Matti Ollikainen on piano. These are Evil Times was released, consisting of both original material/covers.

After that the band went into hiatus for some years but is now back on track again. 2023 means a older, angrier and more devoted incarnation of Hellsongs than maybe ever before? Kalle, Maria-Teres, Daniel, Anna & Lina have recorded five tracks that will be released during fall 2023/early 2024.

I'm the director of a wonderful small web design company, based in a small village called Cromarty in the Highlands of Scotland. If you'd like a website built by a nice team of reliable people, most of whom have been building websites for well over 20 years, get in touch. We would love to help you.

If you host your website with us, we'll plant at least one tree a year (probably a few more), each and every year when we send you our invoice.

If this sounds good, pop over to our own website and get in touch. Jamie, Colin, Garve, Sandy or Gill will be happy to help you. If you're in the North of Scotland, pop in for a tea or coffee and we'll get you a nice bun to wash it down with, made by the fantastic folk of Cromarty Bakery.
