Dick Dudley are a four-piece whose members are scattered across Liverpool, Sydney and Melbourne. Guitarist Jim and vocalist Richard Harris first met while counting out pennies for cheap pints at the Kazimier Garden in Liverpool; bassist Justin Lee Williams was living in Paris and painting flowers when he was drawn in, and drummer Sebastian Stefani was in the middle of a PhD in neuroscience.
Their sound blends the textures of Australian post-punk with Liverpudlian wit and a streak of no wave: Jim’s guitar parts are intricate and wiry, while Harris brings a sharp, playful lyrical outlook. The band spent a long time building a following by word of mouth and occasional live appearances before releasing a run of singles, beginning with ‘Soft Boy’ and ‘Daniel’ in 2021 and followed by ‘Handyman’ and ‘Chip Dinner’ in 2022, the same year as ‘Dog Park’.

I'm the director of a wonderful, small web design company, based in a small village called Cromarty in the Highlands of Scotland. If you'd like a website built by a nice team of reliable people, most of whom have been building websites for well over 20 years, get in touch. We would love to help you.
If you host your website with us, we'll plant at least one tree a year (probably a few more), each and every year when we send you our invoice.
If this sounds good, pop over to our own website and get in touch. Jamie, Colin, Garve, Sandy or Gill will be happy to help you. If you're in the North of Scotland, pop in for a tea or coffee and we'll get you a nice bun to wash it down with, made by the fantastic folk of Cromarty Bakery.
