In 2023 alone, The Sea Monks played 83 shows across 7 states, and their high-energy performances have garnered them airplay on 91X FM and KPBS Midday Edition.
The Sea Monks have released three albums, including the SDMA-nominated Lost Again (2021) and Gasoline (2018). Their newest album, New Dreams, is a collaboration with San Diego's Johnny Sapphire. Recorded at Pacific Beat Recording with acclaimed engineer Alan Sanderson (The Rolling Stones, Elton John, Fleetwood Mac, Michael Jackson, B.B. King) and featuring the vocals of Josie Lavalle, New Dreams showcases their evolving sound.
They’ve also been featured on KPBS, San Diego Troubadour, San Diego CityBeat, and SDVoyager, and have shared the stage with legends such as Jimmie Vaughan, The Meteors, Dale Watson, James Intveld, The Beat Farmers, Rosie Flores, and many more.
