Motion City Soundtrack, a beloved American rock band formed in 1997, has been captivating fans with their energetic blend of emo/pop-punk and indie for decades. Known for their catchy melodies, introspective lyrics, and dynamic performances, the band quickly rose to prominence with hits like "Everything Is Alright" and "The Future Freaks Me Out." After a hiatus, Motion City Soundtrack is making a triumphant return with their first new original studio track, "Stop Talking" in 10 years.
From Justin:
As far as the song’s content is concerned, I think it speaks for itself. Somewhat related, I will say that once I realized I was a middle aged mess, a couple thoughts simultaneously occurred to me:
1. I still feel like an awkward teenager all the time.
2. I’m pretty certain I have unresolved “issues” from childhood I’ve never looked into.
3. I do not communicate the same way as the majority of the people I’m around on a daily basis and it drives them all cuckoo bananas.
4. Most of the recurring problems in my life have to do with… wait for it… me. Hi, I’m the problem, it’s me. Only not in a depressing way, but more of a revelatory way.
Hopefully that made some sense. And if you weren’t aware of it before, I’m longwinded as fuck. Both via text and definitely in person. As my kid likes to say, “Dad, you’re a lot.” Stop Talking.

I'm the director of a wonderful small web design company, based in a small village called Cromarty in the Highlands of Scotland. If you'd like a website built by a nice team of reliable people, most of whom have been building websites for well over 20 years, get in touch. We would love to help you.
If you host your website with us, we'll plant at least one tree a year (probably a few more), each and every year when we send you our invoice.
If this sounds good, pop over to our own website and get in touch. Jamie, Colin, Garve, Sandy or Gill will be happy to help you. If you're in the North of Scotland, pop in for a tea or coffee and we'll get you a nice bun to wash it down with, made by the fantastic folk of Cromarty Bakery.
